Our story

Hi, I'm Jeremy, the owner of Blue Collar Bicycle Service.

As a lifelong cyclist, professional bike mechanic with over 10 years of experience, and educator with more than 20 years of teaching experience, I've always believed that knowledge, honesty, patience, and attention to detail make all the difference. I continue to teach while operating Blue Collar Bicycle Service, and the skills I've developed in the classroom—listening, communicating clearly, and helping people feel comfortable asking questions—are the same qualities I bring to every repair and every customer interaction.

Over the years, I've worked on everything from routine tune-ups to more complex repairs and custom builds, helping riders keep their bikes performing at their best.

As a West Virginia native, I'm proud to call this area home. Growing up here taught me the value of hard work, honesty, and doing the job right the first time. My father spent his career as a service repairman, and watching his dedication to helping people and taking pride in quality workmanship left a lasting impression on me. In many ways, Blue Collar Bicycle Service is my way of carrying on that tradition and building something I know he would be proud of.

Those values are the foundation of Blue Collar Bicycle Service. I built this business not only to provide convenient, professional bicycle repairs, but also to support the community and help more people enjoy everything our region has to offer. Whether you're commuting through town, exploring local rail trails, cruising the neighborhood, or riding our mountain bike trails, I want to make it easier for you to keep your bike in top condition.

During my years in the industry, I realized there was a need for a more convenient and approachable way to get bicycle service. Not everyone has the time to load a bike into a vehicle, drive across town, or leave it at a shop for days. For some riders, walking into a traditional bike shop can also feel overwhelming, especially if they're new to cycling or unsure what repairs they need. I wanted to remove those barriers by bringing professional service directly to my customers in a relaxed, comfortable setting.

That's why I started Blue Collar Bicycle Service. Whether you're at home, work, or preparing for a weekend ride, my fully equipped mobile workshop comes to you, saving you time while providing the same quality service you'd expect from a professional repair shop.

Every repair is completed with professional tools, high-quality lubricants, cleaning products, and careful attention to detail. I believe in honest recommendations, dependable workmanship, and treating every bike as if it were my own.

I'm proud to serve Morgantown and the surrounding communities, helping cyclists spend less time waiting for repairs and more time enjoying the ride.
